It is easy to start because it uses the same Smart Start feature as the model I have mentioned in the Husqvarna weed eater reviews above. The more interesting model is the 129L trimmer because that one comes with a straight shaft and I have already mentioned that the straight shaft it easier to control. Everything else is pretty much the same, including the Smart Start feature and the 27cc engine. The third option is the most interesting one because it has a special feature which makes it user-friendly. You can remove the Husqvarna weed eater head and put other Husqvarna weed eater attachments, as long as they are from the DX series. So, this could be classified as the multi-tool in this category.

It comes with both straight and curved trimmer.

The 129DJx version can use other Husqvarna weed eater attachments besides a trimmer.

The engine is slightly weaker than from the model above.

Husqvarna Trimmer 322L

The last Husqvarna gas weed eater in this Occasional use category is the 322L trimmer and it comes in only one version – this one. This Husqvarna line trimmer is powered by the 23cc engine, which is the weakest in the category so use it only for light trimming. It comes with a straight shaft, which is better to control if you don’t have experience in trimming the yard. Since it is a gas trimmer, you will be happy to hear that it doesn’t produce that much sound, well at least not as much as other gas trimmers. The trimmer is very light and the engine doesn’t produce that much sound so you don’t have to equip the trimmer with anti-vibration handles to reduce the fatigue in your hands.

There aren’t that many surprises with the battery powered trimmers from Husqvarna because they are all pretty similar. This trimmer also comes with the 36v battery and the charger so you can easily start trimming when you charge the battery. Although it is common for the trimmer to be sold with the battery and the charger, read the description every time because there might be deals where you will get a tool only. If you are aware of that, then I am sure there wouldn’t be any problems with the trimmer because it is light and easy to use so you will keep your yard well-maintained simply and without that much effort.

It’s simple, round string typically offers the best longevity of any shape.

Think about it.095 is a measure of the thickest part of a trimmer line. So a.095 star-shaped trimmer line is much less dense, than a round.095 line. As a result, star shaped or similar multi-sided lines are going to break apart faster.

Round line will last the longest as it is as thick as possible all the way around.

It’s true, a.095 round line is truly.095 all the way around. BUT. the round shape does not provide the best structure for actually cutting grass. And creates a rather abusive cut.

It’s a toss-up which brands round line will last the longest. And it will largely depend on the type of grass, weeds, or brush you are cutting.
