Industrial Tree Stump Grinder
The range of tree stump grinder machines from EZ Machinery are built tough and designed to remove even the most stubborn stumps and trees.
The Stump-it series comes in 300, 500, 600 and 700 diameter cutting discs which means you can handle tasks of every size.
- The 500 is suited to 3-5T excavators. This attachment has a cutting diameter of 500mm and a 6-inch cut depth per pass.
- The 600 is suited to 5-12T excavators and smaller skid steers and is perfect for a mid-sized landscaping business. With an 8-inch cut depth per pass, you can work more efficiently and effectively.
- For heavy-duty landscaping, choose the 750. This is designed for 12-30T excavators and large skid steers. The unit is ideal for large landscaping jobs and has an 8-inch cut per pass.

Our Mini Skid Steer Hydraulic Stump Grinder Attachment will make light work of your hard to get to stumps. This attachment is an excellent choice for your difficult to get to stumps whether in a yard or wooded area. There are two hydraulic motor options to choose from to be better suited for your machines hydraulic out-put capacity. Choose from either 8 to 11 gpm or 10 to 14 gpm. In addition you can choose from two different types of cutting teeth options square teeth or carbide bolt on teeth. Please be sure to select the brand of your machine, hydraulic hose coupler type and cutting tooth option you prefer before adding this item to the cart.

Shipping and handling charges are based on the total weight of your order. Oversized or excessively heavy items may have an additional shipping cost. This charge may not be calculated until the order is being prepared. We will notify you if there is an increase in the shipping charge on your order prior to billing and shipping.
We ship via Old Dominion, XPO Logistics, Estes, UPS, FedEx, US Postal Service, or Broker Hire Subcontractors in the continental US. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and overseas will have additional shipping costs applied.
3.Please allow around 4-30 business days for delivery of non-back ordered items in the continental US. Please also allow additional time for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and/or any international orders.
Entire orders will be shipped together, when and if possible.
Someone MUST be present to receive the delivery and to sign the receipt of goods.
It is required that a machine be present with the proper lift capacity to off-load freight as lift-gate service is NOT provided unless otherwise agreed to and paid for in advance.
No re-consignments or deliveries to other locations or addresses will be permitted once an order has been placed and the delivery address has been confirmed. In the rare case a client demands this, additional fees will be applied and must be paid in full prior to delivery of goods.
It is the client’s responsibility to call the shipping company to arrange a time of delivery. We DO NOT guarantee that any prior-notice call or notice will be given once the order ships.
Any non-commercial ship-to-address will incur additional fees. In addition, any other special delivery requests such as Lift-Gate Service, Residential Address, Limited Access, Inside Delivery, Notify/Call Ahead Notice on Delivery, Secure Access, Job site or Construction Site, Farms or remote area deliveries will incur additional fees.
It is the client’s responsibility to inspect goods upon their arrival. In the rare case of receiving an item that has been damaged during transit, it is the client’s responsibility to note any and all damage on the Bill of Lading (BOL). We encourage you to take photos to document any damage and to notify Spartan Equipment via email at orders@spartanequipment.com. Clients will also be responsible for filing a freight claim with the carrier. Spartan Equipment will do everything we can to be an advocate on your behalf and assist in negotiating with the carrier to remedy the situation.
In the equally rare case of a lost shipment, please notify us if you have not received your order in a timely manner. Our goal is to stock the majority of items we advertise to sell and meet our client’s needs promptly. If your order has been lost in transit, we will work with the carrier to find it. Please give us up to two weeks to notify the carrier about the issue and to locate your order.
Transactions shipped within the state of Maryland are subject to Maryland State Sales Tax. Items picked up at our facility within Maryland MUST be done via appointment only and are also subject to State Sales Tax.

Stump Grinders KSG1-EX KSG2-EX
The KSG1-EX and KSG2-EX are high-performance stump- grinding attachments. Using highly efficient direct-drive axial-piston hydraulic motors, they put all available hydraulic power to good use, ensuring that stumps are removed rapidly and effectively. The build quality is second-to-none, with all components carefully designed to withstand the robust treatment that is often required to get the job done. Despite this, the KSG series is exceedingly compact, making it easily manageable even for smaller excavators.
The reach of the carrier machine can be used to access stumps that are difficult or impossible to get close to. some common locations include:
- Steep embankments. such as beside roads/railways
- In flower-beds/ornamental borders
- Behind fences
The reach of the carrier machine can also reduce the amount of re-positioning required when removing multiple stumps, minimising damage to sensitive surfaces such as lawns.

The transverse mounting position ensures the best possible visibility for the operator, preventing fatigue in order to boost efficiency
The large-displacement axial piston motor runs well within its maximum power rating, minimising wear for a long service life while reducing power losses to heat generation, maximising efficiency
The practically unbreakable tempered steel shaft runs in two massive taper-roller bearings, offering all of the efficiency gains of a direct-drive system (no power lost to belts or gearboxes), while protecting the motor from high axial and radial loads
The cutting wheel turns at a relatively low speed but with very high torque, which ensures that power goes into the stump rather being lost to aerodynamic drag
The replaceable, self-sharpening tungsten carbide teeth have multiple cutting edges, reducing wearing part costs, and can easily be rotated or changed without the need to brace the cutting wheel
The guard is mounted on a pivot, allowing it to move clear as you get deeper into the cut, while still preventing debris being thrown far from the working area
The cutting wheel is designed to retain momentum, evening out load peaks, and permitting smooth, even cuts
The hydraulic pipes are spiral-wrapped, protecting them from scuff wear
